The fact is that this game is low quality which means that the game itself is not a huge download. I did not see any lags from my perspective. Feral does a really good job with their games and I respect them. It would be nice to see some skirmish games with different game modes but overall this game is something that once you beat you most likely wont play again

I am a devoted fan of the BIA games, i think they have the best story of any videogame ive played, the combat is excellent, and it really is set apart from your average call of duty-esque game, even though i enjoy those as well. The graphics are dated, but it came out on the original xbox and ps2 so you have to take that as it is.

This is a good starting point for those interested in the Feral games. It is good gameplay. I have never been let down by their games and this one is no exception.

How can I tell how I like the game? It freezes at the same spot, 5 tries, in the first Chapter, shooting at the "German Scarecrow". Ive gone to the Support Site and BIA: Earned in Blood isnt even listed. How can I tell?

The Brothers in Arms games are fun and probably the most realistic portrayal of WWII infantry combat. but something to keep in mind is that this game was originally released in early 2005. One of the platforms it was written for was the original XBox. You should adjust your expectations of production quality accordingly. I think that this semi-sequel is more challenging and a bit more fun than the original, but the two games are very similar. If you liked Road to Hill 30, youll like Earned in Blood. If you didnt like Road to Hill 30, you probably wont like Earned in Blood either.

great game

This is a pretty good game except you can play it and get quite far into the game especially in the skirmish level, but if you get killed which happens quite frequently, it goes back to an earlier level and ypu have to battle all the way through to where you left off. There should be some way to save the game at different levels, and if you do get killed, you dont have to go all the way back. It does lose some appeal when you have to fight the same battles over and over. A way to save the game at your discretion would be an important thing to have. Otherwise it is a great game.

BIA

I am reading a lot of the reviews below, figured I should correct most of them. First, this game didnt come out in 2010, both RTH30 and EiB were released in 2005 and are based up Unreal Engine 2, before the shift to HD and UR3. So yes, this game is somewhat dated. Second, this is an extremely buggy ported version of this game. I played both RTH30 and EiB on Xbox and PC, and I must say they were much better on those platforms. This Mac version is extremely buggy: squad AI and enemy AI is all over the place, lots of glitches. I would recommend buying the phsyical media and running it through bootcamp to play on windows. But, overall, it is still a great game and I highly recommend it.

despite the fact that ww2 is really done to death at this point, i found this game to be really fun! im an old school gamer so graphics really arent a problem for me. the game is dated after all, but its actually suprisingly good for its age. its a great fps, but its an fps for the patient. if your the type who likes "God mode" walk away, but if youre the kind of guy who turns off all the add ons and sets the game to the highest difficulty, or who gets a "realism" mod for your favorite fps, youll like this game. runs fine on a 2012 macbook pro on maximim settings, no problems no crashes. no multiplayer really but a very long campaign thats fun to replay. If your looking for a game that will steal 30 or so hours of your life, and you like explosions and bullets flying around, and outsmarting enemies, this could be the game for you!

In my very own opinion, I really think this game is under rated by many and I think it is better than Call of Duty or Battlefield. The game is just so good, I’ve really never played anything like it. With such a good story and tactics that you have to use, it makes the game very challenging + with intense fighting on a hard difficult. It’s great!
